Job summary

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) in Palm Springs, CA seeks a local contract RN Director ED to lead the Emergency Department. The role includes department administration, policy enforcement, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of nursing management in a hospital setting with ED supervisory experience, active RN licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. Local contract, 40 hours/week, days shift, duration 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years progressive nursing management experience in a hospital setting with three years supervisory experience
• Prior supervisory experience in the Emergency Department
• Must be currently licensed to practice in state of practice and meet licensure requirements

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises staff and workflow in the assigned department.
• Maintains budgetary or fiscal accountability and approves supply orders.
• Ensures regulatory standards and patient care alignment with hospital goals.
• Oversees timekeeping and evaluations and supports departmental performance improvement.
