Qualifications

• Contract Web Developer with strong Drupal expertise.
• Experience maintaining and modernizing District government websites.
• Experience with 508/WCAG compliance and accessibility.
• Experience upgrading Drupal 7 to 10/11 migrations.
• Security best practices in line with federal cybersecurity guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, UX designers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites (DC.gov and agency platforms).
• Build and customize Drupal modules, themes, content types, taxonomies, and views per requirements.
• Perform Drupal core and contributed module updates and migrations.
• Integrate Drupal sites with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Produce technical documentation, code comments, and runbooks.
• Provide Tier 3 production support and participate in deployments, including occasional after-hours work.
