Centene is seeking a Contract Specialist to create contracts and manage the contracting workflow for new business opportunities. The role involves reporting metrics, identifying gaps and risks, and training temporary staff within a healthcare contracting framework.
Ideal candidates have 1+ year of contracting or related experience, with MS Word/Excel proficiency. This remote position prefers Delaware but welcomes candidates across the United States, working Eastern Time hours.
Position Purpose: Create contracts and manage the contracting process for new business opportunities, prepare contract status and metric reporting, identify gaps and risks in contracting process, and assist with work assignments and training for temporary staff.
Key Details: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J -1, OPT, or CPT.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of contracting, customer service, administrative, or related experience. Intermediate skills with MS Word and Excel required. Healthcare experience and experience with provider information or Emptoris system preferred. Intermediate skills with Access preferred.
Delaware is the preferred location for this position, but this remote role is open to someone working anywhere in the United States. This employee will be required to work Eastern Time business hours.
Pay Range: $23.23 - $39.61 per hour
