Job summary

DISHER is looking for an experienced Controls Engineer for a 3-month contract in Grand Rapids, MI. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in controls or systems design with a strong understanding of Electrical and Control System concepts.
• Experience in PLC programming required, with specific brands being AB and Siemens.
• Ability to create electrical print sets and maintain bills of material for projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems with minimal supervision.
• Provide PLC & HMI programming for machine control systems.
• Support manufacturing and installation services as needed.

Skills

BSEE with emphasis on controls or systems design

5+ years experience

Variable frequency drive experience

PLC experience: AB and Siemens

Basic understanding of industrial networking

Ability to use AutoCAD or EPLAN

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
