Job description

Contract Clinical Therapist II – Koda Therapy – Carmel, Indiana – Independent Contractor

About Us

At Koda Therapy, we believe that happy, well-supported therapists make the biggest impact, which is why we’re committed to taking care of you first. We prioritize your well-being with a balanced caseload, open dialogue about stress levels, and a fun, collaborative atmosphere. We know you can’t pour from an empty cup, after all, how can we expect you to support clients if you’re feeling overwhelmed and exhausted yourself?

We’re building a team of authentic, motivated therapists (like you) who value professionalism, but understand the power of a little humor and warmth. We want you to be here not just for a good time, but a long time! Whether it’s sharing ideas or voicing concerns, direct communication keeps our culture strong and keeps stress off your plate. With progressive and innovative systems in place for paperwork, you can head home clear-minded. When you’re supported, clients receive the best version of you.

We’re not your cliché, “as seen on TV” therapists who only nod and ask, “How does that make you feel?” Our style is active and goal-driven. We help clients identify practical steps and push them to move forward. Emotions matter, but so does figuring out what to do with them. It’s our mission to help clients feel empowered to take action, and we’re looking for therapists who share that same passion.

If you’re excited about making a real impact and want the flexibility to manage your schedule, Koda Therapy is ready to support you. We offer ongoing peer consultations and personal development opportunities, so you can grow as a professional while keeping your personal life in balance.

Join Koda Therapy, and let’s build a supportive community where your well-being fuels client success. We’re better together, and we can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to our team.

Our Values
  • Curiosity. We encourage our clients and staff to approach challenges with curiosity, asking questions and seeking new solutions to overcome barriers.
  • Empathy. We cultivate a culture of empathy, recognizing and understanding the emotions and experiences of our clients, colleagues, and the community.
  • Compassionate Confrontation. We encourage open and honest conversations to be used as a catalyst for growth. Confrontation, when approached with compassion, allows us to address concerns, create accountability, share honest feedback, challenge the status quo, and collaboratively find solutions.
  • Respect. We treat every individual with respect, honoring the uniqueness of their journey, background, and identity.
  • Empowerment. We are committed to empowering clients to discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and take charge of their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Inclusivity. We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and heard.
  • Continuous Learning. We prioritize ongoing professional development and continuous learning, staying current of the latest therapeutic approaches to provide the highest quality care.
  • Courage. We encourage both clients and staff to embrace courage in facing challenges, facilitating growth and positive change.
