Job summary

Iris Cove Health & Rehabilitation in Memphis is seeking an experienced Beautician/Hair Stylist to provide high-quality hair care and grooming services to residents in a skilled nursing setting as a 1099 contractor.

You will manage your own schedule, maintain a clean salon, and supply your own tools, offering haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, and beard trims as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Cosmetology license.
• Experience with seniors or in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must provide your own tools and equipment.

Position Type: 1099 Contractor

Iris Cove Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced Beautician/Hair Stylist to provide high-quality hair care and grooming services to our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional who enjoys working independently while making a meaningful difference in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts, shampooing, styling, and grooming services for residents

• Offer additional services such as coloring, perms, and beard trims (as applicable)

• Maintain a clean and sanitary salon environment

• Establish positive and professional relationships with residents and staff

• Coordinate your own schedule and manage service pricing (within facility guidelines)

• Adhere to all safety and infection control requirements

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology License (required)

• Prior experience with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred

• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Must provide your own tools and equipment
