Job summary

Flatiron Health is seeking an Associate Research Scientist to support the CSS team with customized real-world data and evidence solutions for oncology research. This temporary contract role runs through December 2026 and offers flexible remote or hybrid work options, with a Durham hub.

You will design client-facing real-world oncology studies, work with statistical programmers, interpret results, and present findings to clients while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with relevant experience in epidemiology/HEOR/related field.
• Experience with observational datasets (registries, claims, EHR).
• Strong written and spoken communication; experience with study documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design client-facing real-world oncology studies with clear protocols and SAPs.
• Collaborate with statistical programmers to implement analyses per study specs.
• Interpret and present study findings in reports and client presentations.
