Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Contract Analyst in Denver for a hybrid role (onsite 3 days, remote 2 days). You will review construction and vendor contracts, NDAs and change orders, ensuring risk is managed per playbooks and company policy.

You will collaborate with Legal, Construction and Finance, handling workflow administration, master agreements, and document clean-up. Paralegal certification and Ironclad experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • 2–5 years of contract administration/analyst experience.
  • Experience with Ironclad or contract management software.
  • Experience in construction industry is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to read and interpret legal docs.

Responsibilities

  • Review NDAs and redlines to assess risk per playbooks.
  • Review SOWs and exhibits for accuracy and risk.
  • Review Change Orders for term alignment and risk terms.
  • Collaborate with Construction, Finance and other teams to finalize work authorizations.
  • Ensure correct Master Agreements and enforce Delegation of Authority.
  • Manage contract workflows, approvals and execution.
  • Identify process improvements and document procedures.
  • Support team attorneys with ad hoc projects.

Legal Department

The Legal team is responsible for managing the company's legal affairs from compliance through litigation, collaborating with departments such as Sales, Operations, Human Resources, and Innovation along the way. The Legal team also works closely with external law firms to develop a comprehensive legal strategy and manages these partners to address issues efficiently and effectively. Unlike many other companies where legal roles are purely advisory, Vantage distinguishes itself by granting our legal staff the authority to directly influence business decisions. This empowers our internal team to align legal strategies with long-term operational goals, risk management, and cost efficiency to deliver outcomes that support corporate objectives. This approach allows each team member to make significant, impactful decisions, driving substantial results for the company.

Position Overview

This role will be Hybrid (onsite for 3 days & 2 days remotely) based in Denver, Colorado. The Contract Analyst provides excellent attention to detail, proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to all matters. The Contract Analyst works closely with the Legal, Construction, Finance, and all business departments to review and analyze construction contracts, vendor contracts, and work authorizations prior to finalization. The Contract Analyst is a collaborative team player who embodies our core values, contributes to a positive workplace culture, communicates with professionalism, provides excellent support of the business, and excels in managing a high-volume, fast-paced workload with shifting priorities.

Essential Job Functions

Review and analyze non-disclosure agreements and proposed redlines to evaluate if they are consistent with the Company’s acceptable level of risk, based on playbook guidance.

Review and analyze work authorizations (statements of work and service orders) and exhibits, ensuring that they are accurate, error free, consistent with executed contracts and company policy, and mitigate risks for the Company. This includes reviewing and editing scopes of work with a keen attention to detail.

Review and analyze Change Orders and exhibits for accuracy of references and numbers, alignment with contract terms, and identifying risk terms that should not be included in the exhibits.

Work closely with Construction (or other business teams), Finance, and other subject matter experts to facilitate timely execution of work authorizations.

Confirm correct Master Agreements have been selected for the business relationship.

Facilitate contracts finalization process, including document clean up and Docusign envelopes.

Ensure contract execution is done in accordance with the Delegation of Authority.

Administer and track workflow of contracts to make sure all are fully approved and executed.

Identify areas of process improvement and assist with process documentation.

Handle additional duties as assigned by Management and miscellaneous special projects to support team members and/or requested by team attorneys.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Contract Management, or a related field preferred. Paralegal certification preferred. 2-5 years experience in a contract administration or contract analyst role. Experience using enterprise resource planning or contract management software, such as Ironclad. Experience in the construction industry, preferred. Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal and technical documents, including redlines and playbooks. Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills that enable the candidate to balance multiple responsibilities at once and consistently meet tight deadlines and conflicting urgent priorities. Expertise in working with Ironclad, Microsoft applications, DocuSign, SharePoint. Travel is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations). This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
