Job summary

Digital Consultants seeks Contract Administrators to support the Government in planning, award, administration, and closeout of contracts, task orders, and other acquisition instruments for the Blue List Program. You will provide advisory and administrative support to Government personnel.

The role requires deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, pre- and post-award contract administration, and audit-ready contract files.

Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with FAR/DFARS; experience with pre- and post-award contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ government contracting experience; 10+ years preferred.
  • Ability to maintain audit-ready, well-organized contract files.

Digital Consultants seeks Contract Administrators to support the Government in the planning, award, administration, and closeout of contracts, task orders, and other acquisition instruments supporting the DCMA Blue List Program. The positions provide advisory and administrative support to Government acquisition personnel and will not perform inherently governmental functions or exercise contracting authority reserved for Government personnel.

Duties to include:
  • Support the Government in the planning, award, administration, and closeout of contracts, task orders, and other acquisition instruments supporting the Blue List Program.   • Provide acquisition planning and contract administration support throughout the acquisition lifecycle by assisting with acquisition strategies, market research, procurement planning, milestone tracking, and other acquisition activities in support of Government mission requirements.
  • Assist in preparing solicitation packages, developing acquisition documentation, reviewing contractor proposals, performing price and cost analyses, and preparing supporting documentation in accordance with applicable statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Support post-award contract administration activities, including preparing contract modifications, tracking contract deliverables and milestones, coordinating administrative actions, maintaining contract status, and assisting with contract closeout activities.
  • Maintain acquisition documentation, contract files, procurement trackers, milestone schedules, and other contract administration records to support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and effective contract management.
  • Provide acquisition advisory support by researching applicable acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures and developing recommendations to assist Government acquisition personnel in executing procurement actions.
  • Prepare acquisition reports, briefings, procurement metrics, data calls, and other acquisition-related documentation supporting Government leadership and program management.
  • Coordinate acquisition activities with Government contracting personnel, requiring activities, technical personnel, legal counsel, financial management personnel, and other stakeholders, as applicable, to facilitate timely execution of procurement actions.
Requirements
  • Deep familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and guidelines, with a strong preference for experience navigating the FAR/RFO and supplements (i.e., DFARS/R-DFARS).
  • Demonstrated experience in pre-award and post-award contract administration, including preparing solicitation packages, conducting price/cost analysis, drafting contract modifications, and managing formal closeouts.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain highly organized, audit-ready official contract files, records, and correspondence logs in accordance with federal records management standards.
  • Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. Personnel shall meet the Tier Three (T3) investigation equivalent (ADP/IT-II) requirement for access to CUI. A completed/current investigation or an investigation in progress is acceptable before commencing work. During onboarding, an individual with an initiated Tier 3 investigation may be granted interim authorization to work, barring unforeseen issues. This also applies to post-award replacement hires. Personnel must obtain a DoW-issued CAC for access to Government spaces and IT systems.
  • Certifications: No specific professional certification identified in the PWS.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, with Business Administration or a related degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional Government contracting experience required, showing progressive responsibility across the acquisition lifecycle. Ten (10) years of experience is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years of professional Government contracting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience navigating the FAR/RFO and supplements, including DFARS/R-DFARS.
Physical Requirements:

The candidate must be able to travel to other worksites as required and with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to sit, stand, use computers and monitors, and perform duties in an office environment for extended periods. The candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion (e.g., moving a case of paper or similar task) that may occur occasionally.
