Job summary

Sompo is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our Legal & Compliance team. Based in Denver, CO, you will draft, review, negotiate and manage a variety of contracts, including NDAs, data processing agreements, and MSAs, ensuring accuracy and timely routing.

You will collaborate with internal teams, maintain contract repositories, monitor obligations, and support approvals. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, familiarity with contract lifecycle management, and

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in contract administration, legal operations, procurement support, paralegal work, or a similar function.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, document control, and common commercial contract terminology.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, legal studies, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with contract management systems such as Conga Contracts/Novatus and Certa.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of contracts, including NDAs, data processing agreements, lease agreements, software licenses, master services agreements, and other commercial agreements.
  • Administer the contract legal review process by tracking requests, coordinating stakeholder input, supporting approvals, and maintaining accurate records within Sompo’s systems.
  • Prepare, format, and manage contract documentation, including amendments, renewals, and related correspondence, using established templates and procedures.
  • Partner with internal business teams, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and other stakeholders to support timely reviews, ensure documentation is complete, and elevate issues as needed.
  • Maintain contract repositories, monitor key dates and obligations, support reporting activities, and identify opportunities to improve contract administration processes.

In this role, you will support contract legal review processes across the organization, ensuring reviews are accurately documented, properly routed, and maintained in accordance with company standards and applicable requirements. Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
