Employment type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary. 13-week contract. Pay: $2,400 weekly gross based on a 40-hour week, with travel and housing stipend available for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Outpatient PT experience required (1+ years).
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients for physical therapy needs.
• Plans and administers prescribed PT treatment programs to restore function and relieve pain.
• Obtains physician orders, sets measurable goals, and monitors progress toward those goals.
• Administers PT treatments to patients.
• Assigns follow-up tasks to the PTA and supervises treatment plan implementation.
• Provides ongoing PTA supervision.
• Provides education and support to patients and families.
• Maintains accurate documentation and reports for assigned patients.
• Communicates treatment plans and progress to referring physician.
• Coordinates with the health care team to keep them updated.
• Stand/walk for 90% of time; may be exposed to infectious diseases; lift up to 50 pounds.

Shift timings: 8 hours or 10 hours; Days, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm or 8.00 am to 6.30 pm (Candidate can choose 8 or 10 hr shifts)

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8 hour or 4 X 10 hour shifts per week, M-F, Some weekend availability may be required

Position Requirements:

• Physical Therapist experience in an Outpatient setting: 1+ years - Required

Job Description:
