Job summary

Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking an ER Travel RN for Rock Island, IL. This travel contract offers 36 hours per week, 3 shifts, every other weekend, and a 13-week assignment with a $2,340 weekly gross pay. Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend eligibility for qualified travelers.

Start ASAP; required IL/IA licenses or compact, ASN minimum, BSN preferred, and ER/ED experience of 2+ years. Certifications BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NIHSS are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years ER/ED RN experience required
• Willing to float to Bettendorf, Muscatine, or Moline campuses
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• ASN or equivalent required; IL RN license required; IA/Compact license required or can apply upon offer
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required
• MOAB or similar de-escalation training required or can be obtained after offer

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for ER/ED patients
• Evaluate and update treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
• Process physician orders accurately and timely
• Coordinate medication changes and order clarifications
• Complete charting and patient documentation promptly

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Nursing care forpatients in the ER/ED setting
• Evaluatesthe effectiveness of the treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates inupdating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members,utilizing current information to improve patient care.
• Processesphysician/provider orders and performs physician-ordered care accurately, completely,and in a timely manner.
• Followsup regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
