Job summary

Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a LTC travel contract in St. Charles, MO. This full-time position requires 1 year PTA experience and LTC rehab background, MO license, and BLS. Travel/contract roles with weekly pay and stipends for travel/housing are offered.

The PTA collaborates with the physical therapist to implement care, assists patients with exercises, and helps with documentation and safety in the rehab area. Schedule typically 5x8h days.

Qualifications

• PTA license for MO or Compact required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience.
• PTA experience in LTC/rehab setting required.
• Travel contract experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement components of patient care, obtain data related to treatments and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary.

Pay Rate:Range $1520 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: PTA, LTC

Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, Typically, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm

Schedule: 5 X 8-hr shifts, 40 hours/week guaranteed, M-F, weekends may be needed

Position Requirements:

• Physical Therapist Assistant Experience: 1 year - Required
  
• PTA experience in LTC or rehab setting: Required
• Prior Travel contracts experience –Highly preferred
