Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Contour Bander Operator for our Washington, NC facility. The role involves setting up and operating a production machine, feeding materials, and stacking finished products in accordance with procedures.

The position requires a minimum of 6 months in manufacturing or assembly, basic math skills, and a willingness to work as part of a safety-conscious team. High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or assembling.
• Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the production machine according to procedures.
• Feed and monitor machine to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Stack finished products and label/band components as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Record production data and participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
