Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement Supervisor to identify and implement opportunities for enhancing plant operational efficiencies, reducing waste, and improving processes. This role will champion Lean Six Sigma culture, lead Kaizen events, and manage the SPC Program, ensuring sustainable progress on continuous improvement initiatives.
How YOU will contribute
- Identify areas for improving plant operational efficiencies, including methods, equipment, and time management.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities in the manufacturing process.
- Manage the SPC Program, including Process and Slicer Capability Studies and Giveaway Analysis.
- Evaluate process capability to identify opportunities for future growth.
- Champion 5S and Lean Manufacturing activities.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma culture at the plant level.
- Lead Kaizen events and other improvement projects (DLMP initiative, etc.).
- Serve as RedZone System Administrator, updating the database for people, products, forums, and checks/audits.
- Act as RedZone Champion, collecting data and leading RedZone‑related activities for the plant.
- Monitor and report sustainability progress on continuous improvement initiatives such as the net weight program, OEE, and other projects.
- Work cross‑functionally with maintenance, operations, purchasing, R&D, etc., to identify and implement solutions.
- Coach and serve as a resource to plant staff on all continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with job coaches to establish training procedures for new processes and equipment.

About YOU
- Experience: 3+ years in food manufacturing, meat industry preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food or Meat Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Certifications: Lean or Six Sigma preferred.
- Knowledge: Proficient in Office 365, Minitab, RedZone preferred, ERP systems, statistical process control training.
- Travel: Local and/or overnight travel required (15%).
