Job summary

The Recruiting Pros are seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for a high-volume manufacturer in Rock Hill, NC. The role reports to the Plant Manager and leads cross-functional teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity.

You will manage lean projects, apply Six Sigma tools, coach Green Belts, and push standardization across plant operations to achieve measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

• B.S./ B.A. in Engineering or Industrial related field REQUIRED.
• 5-7 years experience in manufacturing operations (plastics, rubber, chemical or medical industries preferred).
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification with 3-5 years experience.
• Proven track record leading high-performance teams and attaining results; excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Manager in improving manufacturing efficiencies by utilizing continuous improvement techniques.
• Possess strong understanding of EHS disciplines relative to continuous improvement and Six Sigma projects.
• Create, initiate and lead continuous improvement projects throughout plant operations.
• Manage a portfolio of lean projects directed at reducing waste and improving quality and value.
• Employ tools such as: 5S, KPI, SMED, VSM and Kaizen.
• Drive standardization of processes and implement metrics and best practices to drive results.
• Implement Six Sigma programs targeting reduction of process time and product variation using SPC, SMED, DOE and Pareto analyses.
• Assist in setting and driving annual operating targets.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts.

The Recruiting Pros are searching for a Continuous ImprovementManager on behalf of a high-volume, high-quality manufacturer in Rock Hill,SC. In this role you will report directly to the Plant Manager and will lead cross-functional teams to follow continuous improvementinitiatives focused on measurable results related to safety, quality, delivery,inventory and productivity improvements. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Routine responsibilitieswill require you to:

• Assist Plant Manager inimproving manufacturing efficiencies by utilizing continuous improvementtechniques.
