The Manager works closely with business leaders to develop a strategy and plan for continuous improvement by leveraging methodologies and best practices that drive execution of successful customer-centric strategies across our business. This role is responsible for improving quality and efficiency measured through customer satisfaction and loyalty across all customer segments. This individual should have a strong background in the healthcare supply chain environment, be aware of industry changes, and be passionate about customer-centricity and the associate experience. They should also have the ability to foster a culture of excellence within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous Improvement & Execution (50%)
- Utilize Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and process mining tools to streamline workflows, identify inefficiencies, and analyze data for improvement opportunities.
- Develop practical data analysis and reporting strategies aligned with business needs, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
- Apply industry knowledge to enhance performance.
- Manage multiple continuous improvement projects, ensuring they are on track, meet deadlines, and align with strategic goals.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, oversee planning and execution, and ensure project completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives align with business priorities and maintain transparent communication on progress and challenges.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management methodologies to analyze and improve processes, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Design and implement sustainable process improvements to reduce rework and cycle times while improving quality.
- Develop and implement countermeasures for process gaps and verify their effectiveness.
- Monitor performance data to measure initiative impacts and identify future improvement opportunities.
- Use data-driven problem-solving to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
- Create project artifacts such as charters, metrics, data collection plans, and training materials.
- Establish dashboards and reporting metrics to track improvement effectiveness.
- Facilitate group meetings and workshops on advanced continuous improvement topics.
- Change Management (30%)
- Develop and execute strategies to help teams adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Support individuals and teams through organizational changes with detailed action plans and resources.
- Establish support systems for employees before, during, and after change initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams for successful change execution.
- Address resistance proactively and act as a change agent to foster cultural transformation.
- Promote a positive attitude towards change and innovation.
- Mentoring/Training (20%)
- Mentor team members across the organization and outside direct reporting lines.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives to promote collaboration.
- Demonstrate leadership by fostering unity and professional growth.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of directly related project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Certified Black Belt (preferred) or Green Belt (required) in Lean methodologies.
- Experience in healthcare services supply chain or related environment preferred.
- Experience with major process improvement and change initiatives preferred.

- Proven project management skills with a track record of quality and operational improvements.
- Ability to resolve complex problems with structured approaches and good judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Project, Excel, Word, Visio, Access, and PowerPoint.

- Strong analytical skills to identify key issues and overcome challenges creatively.
