This is far more than a traditional CI role. You'll lead high-impact improvement projects, eliminate waste, optimise production, and implement changes that directly improve quality, efficiency, and productivity. Rather than maintaining mature processes, you'll help build and continuously improve them.

Working within a high-mix, low-volume CNC machining environment, you'll partner with production, engineering, and leadership to drive Lean initiatives, automation projects, and operational excellence across the site.

What's in It for You as a Continuous Improvement Engineer?

  • Up to $135,000 salary

  • Lead site-wide continuous improvement initiatives with real ownership.

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, automation, and operational excellence projects.

  • Work closely with senior leadership and make a visible impact.

  • Join a business investing heavily in new technology, equipment, and growth.

  • Clear progression into Manufacturing Engineering, CI Leadership, or Operations Management.

What You'll Be Doing as a Continuous Improvement Engineer

  • Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing.

  • Eliminate waste, improve productivity, and optimise manufacturing processes.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Partner with operators and production teams to improve shop floor performance.

  • Support automation, CAPEX, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Analyse manufacturing data to identify opportunities for improvement.

What You'll Bring as a Continuous Improvement Engineer

  • Experience within CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or a similar manufacturing environment.

  • Proven Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience.

  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience improving quality, throughput, efficiency, or cost.

  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for driving change.

Nice to Have as a Continuous Improvement Engineer

  • Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S certification or experience.

  • Automation or Industry 4.0 project exposure.

  • Knowledge of precision machining or CNC manufacturing.

Why Join as a Continuous Improvement Engineer?

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing aerospace manufacturer where your ideas will be implemented, your impact will be visible, and your career can progress quickly. If you want genuine ownership and the chance to transform manufacturing operations, we'd love to hear from you.
