Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Southeast Michigan. You will assess, treat, and support children with physical and developmental needs in a pediatric setting, delivering evidence-based therapy within a collaborative care model.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a degree (Bachelor/Master/Doctorate).
  • Valid NPTE certification.
  • Active Michigan state PT license.

Responsibilities

  • Empower children to thrive through personalized PT plans.
  • Assess, diagnose, and implement interventions for physical and neurological needs.
  • Collaborate with families and other clinicians to support progress.
  • Document progress and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy culminating in the receipt Bachelors, Master’s or Doctoral Degree.
  • Certified by the National Physical Therapy Examination Board (NPTE).
  • Possesses a valid Michigan state license in Physical Therapy.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Active & Engaged Work – Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.
  • Hands-On Support – Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required.
  • Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
  • Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings.
  • Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.
Clinic Location(s)
  • Locations seeking contingent coverage: Bloomfield Hills, Clarkston, Davison, Rochester Hills, Sterling Heights, Madison Heights, Roseville.

Status
  • Part-time, Contingent

Work Schedule
  • Intermittent as needed to cover and pickup shifts/hours Monday-Friday
Compensation
  • After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.
