SERVPRO of Belmont/San Carlos, San Leandro, and Stockton is seeking an experienced Fire Contents and Cleaning Technician. The role involves performing cleaning and contents repair tasks, packing, documenting damage, and delivering items back to customers in the greater Stockton area.

You will be trained in SERVPRO procedures, work with industry-standard equipment, and participate in training and development programs. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Requires cleaning experience and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Must be able to travel locally and occasionally out of state.
• Background check may be required by policy.

Responsabilités

• Pack and crate items, document damage, and assist with loading/unloading.
• Clean structure and contents using SERVPRO solutions and equipment.
• Deliver items back to the customer and prepare rooms for work.
• Inventory and organize equipment and supplies; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other technicians to ensure efficient processes.
• Assist with end-of-day cleanup and breakdown.

Fire Content and Cleaning Technician - Experienced Level

Primary Responsibilities

• Pack and Crate – Photograph existing damage, wrap and pack boxed items and furniture, relocate or load and unload from our vehicles for storage or return to customer residence. Training will be provided to document in our system.
• Cleaning of structure and contents: You will receive instructions on the proper cleaning procedures with SERVPRO solutions and the use of specialized equipment.
• Delivery of items back to the customer.
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products and supplies necessary for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and a clean appearance of equipment.
• Prepare the rooms/areas according to the work to be done in each project.
• Comply with security and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with the supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient processes.
• Cleanup and breakdown at the end of the day or job. Leave the workplace looking clean and tidy

Job Requirements

• Cleaning experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• Driver's license (not required but preferred)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling height, and work in confined spaces (eg, crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Pay

Competitive hourly rate based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay and merit-based pay increases
