Job summary

EnerVenue seeks a Content Writer to produce industry-leading writing for utilities, developers, data-center operators, investors and regulators across multiple platforms.

This is the first dedicated content hire reporting to the Head of Communications, responsible for 2,000-word long-form pieces and concise 200-character posts, with disciplined sourcing and a boundary between factual reporting and marketing language.

Qualifications

• Four or more years writing published business, technical or editorial content for a professional audience.
• Experience in the renewables industry is required. Energy storage experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrable long-form thought leadership: pieces that argue with evidence.
• Ghostwriting in a named executive voice with samples and clear voice-building.
• LinkedIn as a primary professional channel and executive content experience.
• Social media content production across at least one channel beyond LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Write deep, top-of-funnel pieces: industry research articles, executive white papers, procurement guides, sector playbooks and technical deep dives.
• Write bylined articles for trade and mainstream energy press in the voice of the assigned spokesperson.
• Build pieces to a house architecture with evidence and a close that argues the category.
• Source figures to named primary sources with dates cited in drafts.
• Manage idea bank and live content territories and bring own angles.
