Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Content Management Consultant to research, develop, and publish accounting and auditing guidance for the CCH AnswerConnect database. You will interpret standards from AICPA, PCAOB, GAO, FASB, GASB, IASB, and other bodies and produce interpretive content for financial reporting and auditing issues.

Role requires 5+ years in public accounting, CPA, and strong writing skills to create publication-ready content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting and financial reporting.
• Audit and attest expertise.
• Financial reporting expertise.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of proper grammar and usage.
• 3 years of writing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks at once and ensuring each is properly tracked and completed on a timely basis.
• Ability to make decisions and alert supervisor or other appropriate parties as to actions needed to accomplish goal.
• Ability to act as an advisor on advanced and broad-ranging products.
• Experience with PCAOB, SEC, GAGAS standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in auditing and financial reporting.
• Monitor, analyze, and generate content relevant to auditing and financial reporting issues.
• Develop written analytic content, summaries, explanations, and white papers for the product line.
• Assist in content enhancement and development within the practice area.
• Collaborate with external industry experts to update content.
• Identify and analyze significant developments.
• Research and respond to customer inquiries in a thorough and timely manner.
• Review work product to ensure quality and performance expectations.
• Conduct competitive analyses to gather intelligence on competitors.
• Assist in marketing initiatives.
• Develop professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Serve as an advisor to management in the field of specialization.
• Represent Wolters Kluwer by maintaining knowledge of products and industry trends.
