Job Summary:

Internet Brands is a leading website and online marketing services provider to the health care industry, seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Content & SEO Specialist to join their Chicago marketing team. The role involves writing compelling content, enhancing SEO strategies, and collaborating with teams to drive traffic and improve brand visibility across various channels.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, write, edit, and polish content for emails, landing pages, social media, and blogs to align with campaign goals for a portfolio of 3 brands

• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to create content that speaks directly to our target audience.

• Make sure all content uses the voice and style of each brand

• Plan and Strategize Brand Content

• Research our audience to create messages that truly resonate.

• Work with the team to align content plans with broader campaign goals.

• Keep a content calendar organized and on track so everything gets delivered on time.

• Use analytics tools to measure how content performs and find ways to make it even better.

• Optimize Website Content to Drive Conversions

• Improve landing pages, forms, and calls-to-action to drive leads and boost campaign results.

• Review website content regularly to ensure it fits with our marketing strategies.

• Conduct keyword research and leverage SEO tools to analyze performance metrics to implement SEO best practices.

• Work with the Marketing Director to define SEO content optimization plans for all 3 brands.

• Use SEO content tools, such as Surfer SEO to develop content.

• Track SEO keyword performance, utilizing tracking tools such as Ahrefs.

• Partner with the marketing team, sales, and design teams to make sure our messaging fits together seamlessly.

• Share ideas based on data to enhance future content and engagement.

• Bring fresh ideas and creative suggestions to improve campaigns.

Qualifications:

Required:

• At least 3 years in content marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.

• 1+ year of SEO content optimization experience.

• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.

• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and conversion optimization techniques.

• Full understanding of SEO and keyword optimization.

• Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SURFER SEO, Ahrefs, and others to analyze content.

• Exceptional planning, writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing campaign-related content.

• Experienced in curating and refining AI-generated content for clarity and tone.

• Ability to manage multiple content deliverables, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to align content with campaign objectives.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.

• Experience with SEO content tools such as SurferSEO and performance tracking tools such as Ahrefs.

• Familiarity with marketing automation tools (ie Eloqua, Pardot, Hubspot, etc)
