A major media and entertainment company seeks an Associate Counsel for Content Protection to advise on copyright enforcement and provide legal guidance within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate, bar membership in California, and experience in intellectual property law. This hybrid position requires working from the Universal City, CA office a minimum of four days a week. Benefits include health insurance and paid leave.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in IP matters.
• Experience in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment is beneficial.
• Must communicate legal issues clearly to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to the IP Operations team on copyright enforcement.
• Advise on requests from business units and licensees regarding UGC.
• Support incident response for content leaks and copyright disputes.
