Position:

Content Production Specialist

Reports To:

Global Marketing Manager – IRISS HQ

Role Summary:

The Content Production Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality video, podcast, webinar and photographic content that supports the company’s marketing, communications, and brand initiatives. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, managing the entire content production process - from pre-production planning to post-production delivery. The specialist collaborates cross-functionally and ensures alignment with global creative standards by maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the global creative and content Manager.

Role summary

The Content Production Specialist produces video, podcast, webinar, and photographic content for marketing, communications, and brand initiatives, in both long-form and short-form formats. This hands-on role owns the full production process, from pre-production planning to final delivery, and designs each shoot to produce multiple assets: a full-length webinar or product video, plus vertical cutdowns for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and other social channels. The specialist works cross-functionally and keeps a dotted-line relationship with the Global Creative and Content Manager to ensure alignment with global creative standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Long-form video production: Film, editing, and producing video for campaigns, product demonstrations, training, webinars, customer stories, and events.
  • Short-form and vertical video: Plan, shoot, and edit short-form content built for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
  • Content repurposing: Turn long-form assets such as webinars, podcasts, and training sessions into libraries of short clips, quote cards, and teasers. Identify the strongest moments in raw footage and recommend how to use them across channels.
  • Podcast production: Record, edit, and publish video / audio content, including interviews and branded series, along with video versions and short clips for social promotion.
  • Photography: Capture and edit photos for web, social, events, and product documentation, including vertical and square crops for social use.
  • Pre-production coordination: Develop scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and schedules with internal stakeholders, planning each shoot so it serves long-form and short-form needs in one session.
  • Post-production: Handle editing, color correction, sound mixing, captioning, motion graphics, and export of final assets in the correct formats, aspect ratios, and specs for each platform.
  • On-camera direction: Coach subject-matter experts, engineers, and leaders who aren't professional presenters, so they come across as natural and credible on camera.
  • Performance review: Work with the marketing team to review metrics such as watch time, retention, and completion rates, and apply what you learn to future content.
  • Equipment and studio management: Operate and maintain in-house production equipment and organize shoot setups onsite and offsite.
  • Field and site safety: Follow all site safety requirements, including PPE and access protocols, when filming in customer facilities, electrical rooms, and other industrial environments.
  • Asset management: Organize, tag, and archive raw and finished assets in the company's approved digital asset management system so content can be easily found and reused.
  • Brand alignment: Ensure all content meets brand standards and creative guidelines across every format, working closely with the Global Creative and Content Manager.
Skills and qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in video and audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom)
  • Experience with short-form and social editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Descript, or similar)
  • Expert with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, smartphones, gimbals, lighting, teleprompters and audio equipment, including wireless lavalier mics
  • Working knowledge of platform specs, aspect ratios, and best practices for YouTube, Instagram, ad channels, and LinkedIn
  • Practical experience with AI-assisted production tools for transcription, captioning, and auto-reframing, with the judgment to check output for accuracy and brand fit
  • Understanding of music and asset licensing for commercial social use
  • Strong visual and storytelling instincts in both long and short formats
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A portfolio that includes both long-form and short-form vertical work
What We Value
  • Safety & Trust: You care deeply about creating clarity and reliability for your team and stakeholders.
  • Empathy: You understand the pressures of cross-functional teams and find solutions that support people as much as processes.
  • Expertise: You bring structure, insight, and best practices to help IRISS elevate its marketing performance.
Compensation:

Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
