Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a PDP Content Specialist to optimize Product Description Pages across a category and ensure content meets Macy’s standards.

You will improve product imagery, ensure copy compliance, and enable tools like size charts and videos on relevant pages. You’ll support an offshore team onboarding thousands of products annually, collaborating with merchants and vendors to enrich content.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience in retail or marketing.
• Professional experience in retail, site merchandising, and/or marketing.
• Experience working in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to stay on top of workload in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards.
• Ability to problem solve and think creatively, strategically and technically.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on site standards and improvements based on market analysis.
• Check quality & technical specifications of images and perform light retouching.
• Run and monitor automated tasks in Photoshop to batch process product imagery.
• Support and monitor offshore team onboarding over 100K products annually.
• Leverage internal reporting to review PDP health opportunities and enrich the product.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect with colleagues and communities.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the PDP Content Specialist will be to ensure that all PDPs (Product Description Pages) for a category of business are optimized and meet/exceed Macys.com content standards. This role will be responsible for optimizing product images, ensuring copy meets requirements and that selling tools such as size charts and product videos, are available on all relevant product pages. The Content Specialist will support an offshore team onboarding new products while also ensuring all existing pages on site are optimized to drive conversion. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, process driven and have strong communication skills. This role reports to the Senior Manager - PDP Optimization.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on site standards and opportunities for improvements based on market analysis.
• Check quality & technical specifications of images and perform light retouching as needed – including, but not limited to resizing, cropping, color matching, corrections, etc.
• Run and monitor automated tasks in Photoshop to batch process large amounts of product imagery and review further opportunities to use automation to improve efficiency.
• Support and monitor output from the offshore team onboarding over 100K products annually.
• Leverage internal reporting to review PDP health opportunities and either action or partner with merchants/vendors to enrich the product.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
• In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.
