Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Croft House, a Los Angeles–based design-driven furniture studio, seeks a Content Manager & Photographer to shape how our work is presented across our website, social media, catalogs, and brand touchpoints. This hands-on role combines photography, image editing, content management, and storytelling.
You will document our furniture, showroom, workshop, and team, manage image libraries, update website content, and collaborate with the Brand Team to define the Croft House story.
Croft House is a Los Angeles–based, design-driven furniture studio creating modern heirloom pieces from natural materials like solid wood, steel, and leather. Every piece is built in small batches by a dedicated local team, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, material honesty, and timeless California-modern design. We’re a tight-knit group that cares deeply about what we make and how it gets to our customers, and we’re looking to add a Content Manager & Photographer who will help shape how Croft House and our work are presented to the world.
We offer competitive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and sick time, and a generous employee discount.
As our Content Manager & Photographer, you’ll be responsible for creating, organizing, and managing the visual content that represents Croft House across our website, social media, catalogs, collateral, and other brand touchpoints. This is a hands‑on creative role that combines photography, image editing, content management, and brand storytelling.
You’ll serve as Croft House’s internal photographer, regularly documenting our furniture, showroom, workshop, team, and day‑to‑day environment. Some of that work will be planned product photography, while much of it will be about recognizing and capturing the smaller moments that tell the story of how our furniture is designed, made, and lived with. You’ll also manage our social media presence, helping turn that ongoing stream of imagery into thoughtful, consistent content.
Beyond creating new content, you’ll be responsible for making sure our existing visual assets are organized, accessible, and used effectively. You’ll manage image libraries, edit and retouch photography, create imagery for additional product configurations and SKUs, update website content, and help maintain catalogs and other brand materials.
You’ll work closely with our Brand Team to continue developing the Croft House story and finding new ways to tell it. This role requires someone with a strong visual eye who is also highly organized and comfortable with the less glamorous—and equally important—work of maintaining a large and growing library of products, photography, and brand assets.
Strong photography skills, including experience photographing products, interiors, people, environments, or related subjects. High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including retouching, color correction, compositing, image cleanup, and preparing imagery for both digital and print applications. Experience managing social media for a brand, studio, or other visually driven organization, including content planning, posting, and community interaction. Strong understanding of image composition, lighting, color, and visual storytelling. Comfortable managing website content and product imagery; experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform is a plus. Experience organizing and maintaining large digital asset libraries, with an understanding of file naming, image organization, metadata, and asset management. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and experience producing or updating catalogs, presentations, signage, labels, and other branded collateral. Able to prepare photography appropriately for web, social, and print use. Strong project‑management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate photoshoots and creative projects from preparation through final asset delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across creative, production, sales, and outside partners. Experience with furniture, interiors, architecture, fashion, or another design‑driven industry is a plus.
