Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Content Management System Developer with 8+ years of experience to join our team. The role focuses on OpenText Web CMS development, API integrations, and front-end delivery using HTML/CSS/SASS-LESS.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and other Developers to deliver scalable CMS solutions. The ideal candidate participates in all SDLC phases, supports deployments, and adheres to Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Content Management System development experience.
  • Experience with OpenText Web CMS in TeamSite, OpenDeploy, LiveSite.

Job Title: Content Management System Developer

Experience: 8+ years

We at Coforge are hiring a Content Management System Developer with the following skillset:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborates with Product Owners, Architects, and other Developers to develop and enhance applications based on end-user requirements.
  • Builds, deploys, validates, and supports clean, maintainable code and documents features for future reference.
  • Actively participates in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Manages version control through Git and GitHub when creating branches, committing code, and engaging in peer reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • DevOps and CI/CD Basics – Understands how code is built, deployed, validated, and supported.
  • OpenText Web CMS (TeamSite, OpenDeploy, LiveSite) development: templates, workflows, integrations, content reuse, workflows, multi-channel delivery.
  • HTML, CSS, and responsive design (SASS/LESS).
  • API integrations supporting content delivery and digital experiences.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience (preferred but not required):

  • Template development and CMS component architecture.
  • Hands-on technical SEO implementation within CMS platforms.
  • Collaborate with front-end and CMS teams to embed SEO best practices into content and code.
