Curious Plot in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Content Intern to craft brand stories across blogs, web copy and social posts, writing engaging copy from concept to final placement.

The role sits on the Creative + Experience team, translating complex messages into clear, audience-friendly content with guidance to refine tone and voice. This paid 10-week internship runs May 31 to August 6, with a hybrid schedule.

Formación

• Studying advertising, communication, journalism, public relations or a related major.
• Current junior or senior.
• Experience working in a professional setting.
• Experience in or familiarity with the agriculture, food or companion animal care industry is a plus but not required.
• Skilled writer.
• Proficient at writing in AP style.
• Can write in various tones and voices.
• Can receive and apply feedback.
• Can turn complex messages into easily digestible written deliverables.

Overview

The content intern is a passionate storyteller and skilled writer who can leverage strategy and creativity to create purposeful brand content. They can develop a story from beginning to end — evaluating what type of content works best, brainstorming creative concepts, writing engaging copy and seeing deliverables through to their final placements. This intern sits on the Creative + Experience team, ideating and writing content including blogs, web copy, social media posts and more for a variety of platforms and clients.

Compensation

This role is responsible for 40 hours a week at a base pay of $25/hr. Curious Plot also offers 12 hours of medical/sick time.
