Job summary

Mercor is seeking a detail-oriented reviewer to evaluate AI-generated in-product writing. You will assess voice, tone, and adherence to editorial standards for short, skimmable text.

In the pilot, you will spend about 5 hours per day, five business days per week, with ramp to ongoing month-to-month engagement.

You will select preferred samples, provide one-line rationales, and apply tags to calibrate before live data.

• Review paired AI-generated in-product writing and judge voice, tone, and editorial adherence.
• Select a preferred sample and write a one-line justification.
• Apply tags and ensure calibration gate is cleared before live data.

Job description

What you’ll do: review paired AI-generated in-product writing (short text people skim, not read); judge voice, tone, and adherence to editorial standards; select a preferred sample, write a one-line reason, apply tags; clear the calibration gate before live data.

Background: set voice and tone for in-product writing at a major tech or consumer product company; experience rating or rewriting AI-generated text against editorial standards.

Schedule: 5 hours/day, 5 business days for the pilot, ramping into an ongoing month-to-month engagement.
