Job summary

Scalar Digital Services LLC is seeking a remote photo/video producer who can travel to client locations in Florida and beyond for shoots. You will capture compelling images and short-form video, edit assets for ads and websites, and write engaging captions and page copy to drive bookings and engagement.

You’ll work closely with the team to plan campaigns, refresh client visuals seasonally, and maintain an organized asset library.

Job description

Create the photos, video and text content promoting our clients’ businesses. You’ll shoot on client’s location, edit images and short form video for ads, landing pages, business profiles and social posts, and write content for the websites we build and run. Your work keeps each client’s online presence in step with what customers see when they walk in: the people, products, and services.

• Plan and run on location photo and video shoots at client businesses, from restaurants and wellness studios to fitness, hospitality and marine businesses
• Capture current material of the people, products, services and spaces customers see in person
• Edit photos and short form video into ready to use assets for Google, Microsoft, and Meta ads, landing pages, business profiles and social posts, in the right sizes and formats for each
• Write captions, ad copy and page copy that turn that material into clear reasons to book, call or visit
• Write and update articles and pages for the informational websites we build and run
• Refresh each client’s visuals as their services, offers and seasons change
• Keep an organized library of shoots and finished assets for every client
• Work with the team on campaign planning, so new content lines up with what each campaign is measuring
• Strong media editing skills (Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, CapCut or similar)
• Creative writing for web and social
• Hands on experience shooting photo and video on location
• A good eye for composition, light and detail
• Comfortable working on site with business owners and their staff
• Organized and self directed: you’ll plan your own shoot schedule and deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on location shoots
• Experience creating ad creatives for display ads
• Experience working with local businesses in Florida
• Familiarity with writing for search (SEO)

The job is remote, but you must be able to travel to our Orlando office a few times a month for meetings and planning, and to client locations for shoots.
