Job summary

St. John's Prep is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to tell our school story through compelling written, visual, and digital content. You will work with a collaborative team to support enrollment, advancement, and school life, reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications.

The role requires strong writing, project management, and a willingness to cover events during evenings or weekends. The position is full-time and on-site in Danvers, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, public relations, or a related field.
• 1+ years of relevant professional experience or internships in communications.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading with audience adaptation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with multiple deadlines.
• Photography experience; familiarity with photo editing software preferred.
• Open to AI-assisted content creation tools in workflows.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread communications for internal and external audiences across multiple channels.
• Maintain and update content on the School's website aligned with brand standards.
• Photograph campus life, programs, athletics, and events; manage photo library.
• Collaborate to develop content for social media by identifying story opportunities.
• Assist with school magazine, admissions publications, and campaign materials.
• Coordinate content requests across departments and manage timelines.
• Support occasional evening/weekend coverage of major events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
