Job summary

TOPS Products is seeking a Content and Data Analyst to support the quality and integrity of product information. Based in St. Louis, MO (onsite), you will analyze data across systems, resolve content and data discrepancies, and improve processes affecting customer and business experiences.

You will build reports, dashboards, and tools to support decisions, review item and change information, and work with cross-functional partners to enhance data governance and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply independent judgment when investigating and resolving business or data issues.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
• Experience identifying trends, reconciling data, performing root-cause analysis, and making recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage priorities and projects.
• Preferred: experience with Microsoft D365, PIM systems, Power BI, ecommerce platforms, customer portals, or similar business applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product and content data across multiple systems to spot discrepancies, trends, and data-quality risks.

• Conduct data audits and reconcile information across D365, internal databases, ecommerce platforms, and customer systems.
• Identify root causes behind recurring data issues and recommend process improvements.
• Create reports, dashboards, trackers, and analytical tools to support business decisions.
• Review new-item and product-change information for completeness, accuracy, and downstream impact.
• Interpret customer product-data requirements and propose solutions balancing customer needs and business requirements.
• Evaluate ecommerce, catalog, proof, and customer-facing product information for accuracy and quality.
• Act as a product-content and data-quality resource for cross-functional partners.
• Recommend improvements to product-data standards, processes, workflows, and governance.
• Independently manage assigned data and content initiatives and communicate findings to stakeholders.
