Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia invite applications for a Contemplative Research Fellow, a Postdoctoral Research Associate focusing on humanities-informed studies of contemplative practices within the CIRCL co-lab. • Ph.D. in Humanities or related field completed or near completion by start date.
• Experience applying humanities methods to contemplative science topics.
• Strong writing and ability to publish with co-authors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team.
• Co-author scholarship related to CIRCL research.
• Participate in CIRCL meetings and CSC activities.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary cohort of Postdoctoral Research Associates at UVA.
• Undertake additional duties aligned with the fellowship.
