Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Contamination Control support specialist for the Fairport, NY plant. You will monitor clean spaces, assist production to minimize contamination, and maintain essential documentation and equipment for contamination control.

Responsibilities include sampling, instrumentation calibration, cleanroom support, audits, and reporting. A minimum 2 years of experience and an AS/AAS degree are required, with strong MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and documentation per procedures in designated areas/equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and test ionizing guns/bars and clean benches/enclosures.
• Monitor ultrasonic/megasonic units; record results and file reports.
• Maintain contamination control documentation and calibrate instrumentation.
• Support clean rooms/garment rotation; conduct cleanroom protocol audits.
• Communicate non-conforming activities to the Contamination Control engineer.
• Assist with coordination of calibration activities and equipment maintenance.

Job Description:

Summary:

• In this role, you will support and promote Contamination Control at the Fairport - NY Plant by monitoring existing clean spaces, supporting production to prevent/minimize/reduce contamination, identifying potential continuous improvements and maintaining the documentation and equipment required for contamination control.

Responsibilities

• Performing the following activities at scheduled intervals in/on designated areas/equipment, and recording results/filing reports in designated repositories:

• Various sampling per documented procedures (includes airborne/surface particulates, airborne & surface organic/inorganic contamination, ultrapure water contamination, etc) including ordering of exposure kits and coordination of locations for sampling
• Inspection, cleaning, and testing of ionizing guns/bars
• Monitoring of the power and frequency of ultrasonic/megasonic units
• Certification of clean benches, clean enclosures, etc as needed
• Maintenance of contamination control documentation
• Assisting with coordination of calibration of all instrumentation used in the above activities
• Supporting all clean rooms/clean spaces including garment supply/rotation
• Cleanroom protocol audits
• Communicate any non-conforming activities/conditions to the Contamination Control engineer

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience.

Education:

• We require an AS or AAS in an applicable field

Required Skills:

• Adept in basic skills of Microsoft Office: Outlook (email), Excel (general data collection, interpretation, graphing), Word, PowerPoint
• Fundamental knowledge and skills with standard electronic equipment and general troubleshooting
