Republic Services in Bryan, OH seeks a Container Welder/Fabricator to repair, weld and maintain containers and roll-off boxes. The role involves MIG/ARC welding, steel fabrication, cutting with plasma torch, and painting. You will install lids and wheels, follow safety policies, and complete paperwork.

Qualifications

• Certified welder with ability to weld steel and aluminum.
• Advanced knowledge of MIG and stick welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers.
• Familiar with basic use of hand tools and following safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance on front, rear and roll-off containers.
• Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment.
• Fabricates steel components using brake and shear and cuts steel with plasma torch.
• Fabricates components for hoppers, containers and compactors.
• Installs lids and wheels on containers and paints repaired containers.
• Follows safety procedures and completes required paperwork.
• Refer more complex repairs to the Supervisor.
