Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Container Delivery Driver in Lantana, FL to safely operate a Container Delivery Truck on assigned routes and serve residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal customers. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, adhere to DOT regulations, wear PPE, maintain a clean vehicle, and communicate with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Container Delivery Truck on assigned routes.

• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operating procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates with other operational needs as directed by management.
