Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking experienced Project Leaders to join our Consumer Practice in Chicago, Detroit, or Minneapolis. You will lead client engagements, supervise research, and bring forward-thinking solutions to clients in the consumer sectors.

You will work with senior executives, build strong client relationships, and drive value creation through strategic analyses, hypothesis-driven work, and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of consulting experience; 1+ years in a team lead role.
• Experience presenting to senior executives and managing client relations.
• Strong management and communication skills; ability to persuade senior clients.
• Excellent analytical thinking and ability to develop forward-looking business models and strategies.
• Proven ability to manage client engagements and build lasting relationships.
• Hands-on delivery alongside management responsibilities is valued.
• Experience with large organizations and growing business opportunities.
• Degree from a top-tier institution preferred; Chicago, Minneapolis, or Detroit relocation.
• Technical degree is nice to have but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client studies and supervise research activities to obtain relevant data.
• Formulate hypotheses and conduct advanced financial analysis of client, competitor, and industry data.
• Develop actionable recommendations and supervise work including due diligence and market insights.
• Manage client contact and contribute to high-level client relationships.
