Undisclosed is seeking an Equity Research Analyst focused on the Consumer sector to join a research-driven investment team. The role supports both buy-side and sell-side perspectives with bottom-up, fundamental analysis guiding investment ideas.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, plus the ability to form independent investment theses and clearly communicate them to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in equity research, either on the buy side or sell side.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Consumer sector.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to develop independent investment views and communicate investment theses clearly.
• Familiarity with long/short or long-only equity investing.
• Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine interest in fundamental investing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on Consumer sector names, including Discretionary and/or Staples.
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment theses.
• Identify attractive investment opportunities through bottom-up company and industry research.
• Analyze company financials, competitive positioning, industry trends, and key drivers.
• Monitor portfolio holdings and industry developments, updating investment views as new information emerges.
• Present actionable investment recommendations supported by rigorous research.
• Engage with company management and other sources to develop differentiated insights.
