Job summary

Axiom is seeking experienced Consumer Protection & Regulatory Attorneys to advise Fortune 500 clients across industries on consumer protection laws, regulations, and compliance matters. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in consumer protection or related regulatory areas, experience with CFPB/FTC/CPSC/FDA, and an active U.S.

state bar. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate regulatory risks and ensure product compliance for complex offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on consumer financial services and lending regulations or product regulatory requirements.
• Active attorney license in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

We are currently seeking Consumer Protection & Regulatory Attorneys to work with our clients at some of the world’s largest and Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries.

We are interested in attorneys with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Consumer Product Regulatory
• Product Safety and Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on consumer protection laws, regulations, and compliance requirements affecting their products, services, marketing, and business operations.
• Provide guidance on interactions with federal and state regulators, regulatory inquiries, examinations, investigations, and evolving consumer protection requirements.
• Review consumer-facing marketing, advertising, disclosures, terms, and product claims for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with legal, compliance, marketing, product, risk, and business teams to identify and mitigate consumer protection and regulatory risks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of legal experience in consumer protection, financial services regulation, consumer product regulation, product safety, or related regulatory matters, preferably with in-house experience
• Experience advising on consumer financial services and lending regulations and/or consumer product regulatory requirements
• Experience with relevant regulatory frameworks or agencies, which may include CFPB, FTC, CPSC, FDA, or state regulators, depending on area of practice
• Experience with consumer lending, fintech, payments, product claims, advertising, labeling, product safety, recalls, or related regulatory matters is a plus
• Active attorney license in good standing with a U.S. state bar

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
