Job summary

MA Bank is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor I to coordinate the flow and origination of consumer loan documents with the Consumer Loan Officer and deliver excellent service to loan applicants and customers.

The role supports loan closings, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures compliance with lending regulations while providing effective communication and timely processing across departments.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college experience preferred.
• Bank loan processing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow and origination of consumer loan documents with Loan Officer.
• Assist customers with loan transactions and basic questions.
• Ensure positive communication of loan terms to applicants and customers.
• Assemble and manage loan documents timely for closings and compliance.
• Monitor funding of loans and data transfer to the core system.
• Conduct loan closings under direction of a Loan Officer.
