Job summary

D.A. Davidson & Co. is seeking a Summer Analyst for the Investment Banking group.

The 10-week program introduces candidates to our investment banking business and the firm, with hands-on assignments on mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, and other advisory services. Interns will work on deal teams, participate in research and presentations, and have a path to permanent Analyst roles.

Qualifications

• Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business majors with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Junior in college.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Self-motivated, with a strong desire to excel in a challenging field.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Research and provide presentation/research material for pitch books, memorandums, presentations and other projects.
• Develop financial modules to analyze a wide variety of client-specific projects.
• Collaborate with an industry team from peer analysts to managing directors.
• Work on various projects to support client relations.
• Support business development activities of senior investment bankers.
• Monitor and update contact/deal database as needed for specific deal teams.
• Assist deal teams with other necessary day to day responsibilities.

During this internship, you will be paid on a bi-weekly basis at an annualized salary rate of $70,304.
