Ridgemont Resources, Inc. seeks a Career Associate Attorney in Consumer Financial Services to join a high-performing litigation team. The role involves independently handling a wide range of consumer finance litigation and advising on regulatory matters.

Qualified candidates will have a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar status in good standing, and 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience, preferably in commercial finance and with FCRA/FDCPA/TCPA exposure.

• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience in commercial litigation and representing financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
• Strong writing, analytical, and professional judgment.
• Excellent research, communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and thrive in a fast-paced, national practice.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters under consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings in state and federal courts.
• Provide legal and regulatory guidance, communicate strategy and developments, and assist clients in investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a nationwide team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing litigation team representing leading financial institutions and service providers in complex business and commercial disputes.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, ingood standing
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience
• Experience with commercial litigation and the representation of financial institutions is strongly preferred
• Background defending matters under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and/orTelephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)is highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members

• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts

• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations

• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents

• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: $175,000 – $250,000, as determined by experience and market factors
