Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate Attorney with at least three years of litigation experience to join its premier practice. The position offers exposure to representation of banks, lenders, loan servicers, and other financial institutions in diverse disputes.

The role may be based in any U.S. office location and provides a path toward high-profile matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team, with opportunities for independent case

Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
Background defending matters under the FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.
Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
Strong writing, analytical, and professional judgment; excellent research and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance; communicate case strategy and developments; support clients responding to investigations.
Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.

A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Consumer Financial Services Career Associate with a minimum of three years of litigation experience to join its Consumer Financial Services practice.

This position offers the opportunity to represent banks, lenders, loan servicers, and other financial institutions in a broad range of disputes involving loan servicing practices, credit reporting matters, and related consumer financial services litigation. The role may be based in any of the firm's U.S. office locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking sophisticated litigation work within a collaborative team environment while pursuing a long-term career path outside of the traditional partnership track.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, ingood standing

Experience with commercial litigation and the representation of financial institutions is strongly preferred

Competitive Salary: $175,000 – $250,000, as determined by experience and market factors
