Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
Experience in commercial litigation and representing financial institutions.
Background defending matters under FCRA/FDCPA/TCPA advantageous.
Ability to independently manage cases and supervise juniors.
Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced national practice.

CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES CAREER ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Consumer Financial Services Career Associate with a minimum of three years of litigation experience to join its Consumer Financial Services practice.

This position offers the opportunity to represent banks, lenders, loan servicers, and other financial institutions in a broad range of disputes involving loan servicing practices, credit reporting matters, and related consumer financial services litigation. The role may be based in any of the firm's U.S. office locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking sophisticated litigation work within a collaborative team environment while pursuing a long-term career path outside of the traditional partnership track.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, ingood standing
3+ years of substantive litigation experience
Experience with commercial litigation and the representation of financial institutions is strongly preferred
Background defending matters under the FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA is highly advantageous
Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members
Strong writing ability, analytical skills, and professional judgment
Excellent research, communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, nationally integrated practice

Key Responsibilities

Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws
Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts
Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations
Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents
Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: $175,000 – $250,000, as determined by experience and market factors
