The Alaska Department of Law seeks a dedicated Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney to join our legal team. This hybrid role is primarily remote with periodic in-person hearings in Central Florida as needed, focusing on matters intersecting consumer bankruptcy.
You will draft pleadings and contracts, litigate cases in court, and conduct robust legal research using industry tools. A JD, Florida Bar admission, and strong drafting skills are required for this demanding position.

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law that overlap with Consumer Bankruptcy. This role requires exceptional legal drafting skills, the ability to litigate effectively, and proficiency in legal research tools. As an Attorney, you will represent clients in legal proceedings, provide expert advice on legal matters, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You must be familiar with Nextchapter and/or Bestcase Bankruptcy software.
This is a hybrid role which is primarily work from home with periodic in person meetings at our Downtown Orlando office and/or at various court houses in Central FL for representation (90% WFH)
