Job summary

ACRT Pacific is seeking energetic foresters to identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines in various outdoor settings. You will plan, direct, and coordinate line clearance crews and negotiate access issues with stakeholders.

The role requires a forestry-related degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, GIS and computer skills, and the ability to work independently across a geographic area. A company vehicle is provided for job-related travel.

Qualifications

• Two-year or four-year degree in Forestry, Biology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science or related field OR high school diploma/GED plus two years UVM experience.
• ISA Certification preferred.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with actionable recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.

Our Consulting Utility Forester position is ideal for entry level and seasoned professionals with an educational background in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental studies, conservation or related disciplines and with experience in these fields and line of work.Our Foresters perform identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees and brush along utility lines; Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations; Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned tree clearance crews; Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues; Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers. **Colorado Salary Range Disclaimer** This position has a salary range of $22.00 to $30.00 an hour. Actual salaries will vary within the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, performance, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
