  • Driver's license required; travel to client locations is common.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field activities including soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water sampling.
  • Oversee drilling operations, soil borings, monitoring well installation, development, purging, and sampling.
  • Perform aquifer testing, soil logging, and construction oversight.
  • Coordinate subcontractors for drilling, surveying, and laboratory services.
  • Support environmental remediation projects, including system operations and maintenance.
  • Compile, evaluate, and interpret environmental media data.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting, including data review, figures, and technical exhibits.
  • Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for property transactions.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, tenants, and clients during field activities.
  • Travel regionally up to 50% as project needs require.

Consulting Senior Associate, Geologist (Project Management)

What You'll Bring:

Required



  • BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years of relevant experience, or strong interest in field ‑ based environmental work

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and interpret technical data

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast ‑ paced consulting environment while meeting deadlines

  • Detail ‑ oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem ‑ solving skills

  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all health and safety protocols

  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

  • Prior environmental fieldwork experience

  • Familiarity with environmental sampling methods, drilling oversight, or remediation systems
