• 10+ years of experience in consulting, cloud architecture, technology advisory, or enterprise transformation programs.
• Extensive experience designing and delivering AWS cloud migration and modernization solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong client-facing consulting experience with a demonstrated ability to influence senior technology and business stakeholders.
• Expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, governance, security, and DevOps practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable business outcomes in complex transformation environments.

About the role

As a Consulting Principal – Cloud Solutions Architecture, you will make an impact by leading cloud modernization, migration, and platform engineering initiatives for large enterprise clients. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Consulting team and work collaboratively with client technology leaders, AWS stakeholders, engineering teams, and Cognizant consulting professionals.

You will serve as a trusted advisor responsible for shaping cloud strategy, designing enterprise‑scale architecture solutions, and helping clients accelerate adoption of modern cloud operating models while achieving measurable business outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Lead cloud transformation engagements, defining target‑state architectures and modernization roadmaps aligned to business objectives.

What you must have to be considered

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, cloud architecture, technology advisory, or enterprise transformation programs.

• AWS Professional‑level certifications or equivalent cloud certifications.
• Experience supporting highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or insurance.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with hyperscaler organizations and strategic technology partners.
• Exposure to multi‑cloud, platform engineering, or cloud‑native transformation initiatives.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $122,400 - $190,750 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
