Job summary

Cognizant Consulting seeks a Consulting Manager to lead a large-scale healthcare claims modernization program, coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering governance, scheduling, and reporting across the project lifecycle.

You will drive Agile delivery, manage budgets and risks, and provide executive updates to steer key decisions. This role requires onsite presence three days weekly in Mason, OH, with a hybrid-friendly posture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-year enterprise transformation or modernization programs.
• Strong project management experience using Microsoft Project to manage integrated plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resources.
• Experience leading Agile delivery execution, including sprint planning, backlog management, stakeholder reviews, and Jira-based tracking.
• Experience managing project financials, including budget planning, forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Mason, OH.

About the role

As a Consulting Manager, Claims Modernization Project Manager, you will make an impact by leading a large-scale healthcare technology modernization program focused on claims transformation, delivery execution, stakeholder alignment, and program governance. You will be a valued member of the Consulting team and work collaboratively with business, technology, UX/UI, API development, vendor, and client stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

What you must have to be considered

• Experience presenting program status, risks, and decisions to executive leadership and Steering Committees.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across business, technology, vendor, and client teams.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI, API development, and external vendor teams on modernization initiatives.

Compensation

$110,500 - $129,500

This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
